Dairy Australia Japan Dairy Industry Study Tour June 2026.

We’ve partnered with Quadrant Australia, the trusted experts in agricultural travel to handle the tour logistics and bookings. Their experience across global farm and industry programs ensures the tour runs smoothly from beginning to end which was the case when we used their services in South America.

Note the date change of the tour is now 1 – 13 June due to accommodation challenges. Also you cannot join the tour part way through. I will be on the tour along with my colleague Catherine Taylor, Sustainable International Trade Senior Manager who has extensive experience in Japan and is fluent in Japanese.

There are only 28 spots on the tour available, and this tour has had the highest level of interest. Therefore it will be on the basis of those who pay their deposit within the 28 spots will confirm their place on the tour. If there is still very strong interest we could consider offering again in 2027.

Attached is the tour itinerary and related information. Participants will need to book their own international flights to and from Japan. Quadrant can book these for you and any additional travel pre or pos the tour if needed. To confirm you place on the tour book here. Please do not pass on to other farmers. In fairness to those who expressed interest we will honour these to have first option. 

The cost as outlined toward the end of the brochure is Twin share/double room $10,795 and single $12,399. Excluding international flights.

When registering choose ‘private tour’. You don’t need to get it perfectly right, but for the tour name write in something like Dairy Australia Japan, so it stands out to Quadrant as your booking comes through their system.

UPDATE: 21 February 2026

We can confirm we currently have 15 registrations for the dairy industry study tour to Japan in June. Thank you to those who have registered for this exciting tour. We received notice that some accommodation is requesting paid deposits resulting in the need to firm up participation. 

Therefore, after this weekend I will promote the tour and open the registrations Monday 23 February, to all dairy farmers including outside of this group who expressed initial interest. 

13 places are currently available. Some of you have informed me you are still planning your personal travel either side of this tour however, if you know you are planning to participate, it is crucial to register now. The itinerary is attached for your convenience.
